CircleCenterPoint

Returns the center point of a circle curve object.

Syntax

rhinoscriptsyntax.CircleCenterPoint (curve_id, segment_index=-1, return_plane=False)

rhinoscript.curve.CircleCenterPoint (curve_id, segment_index=-1, return_plane=False)

Parameters

curve_id

Required.  String or Guid representing the identifier for the curve

segment_index

Optional. Number. If curve_id identifies a polycurve object, then segment_index identifies the curve segment of the polycurve to query.

return_plane

Optional. Boolean. If True, the circle's plane is returned instead of it's center point

Returns

Point3d

The 3-D center point of the circle if successful.

Plane

The circle's plane if successful and return_plane is True

None

If not successful, or on error.

if rs.IsCircle(id):

    point = rs.CircleCenterPoint(id)

    rs.AddPoint( point )
