RebuildCurve

Rebuilds a curve to given degree and control point count.  For more information, see the Rhino help file for the Rebuild command.

Syntax

rhinoscriptsyntax.RebuildCurve ( curve_id, degree=3, point_count=10)

rhinoscript.curve.RebuildCurve ( curve_id, degree=3, point_count=10)

Parameters

curve_id

Required.  String or Guid.  The object's identifier.

degree

Optional.  Number.  The new degree, which must be greater than 0. The default is 3.

point_count

Optional.  Number.  The new point count, which must be bigger than the degree.  With closed curves, the minimum point count is 3.

Returns

Boolean

True or False indicating success or failure.

Example

import rhinoscriptsyntax as rs

curve = rs.GetObject("Select curve to rebuild", rs.filter.curve)

if curve: rs.RebuildCurve(curve, 3, 10)
